Beach v. Pool
2 weeks to Labor Day and I/we've been to the beach precisely one time, if Wollaston counts. The beach is always a good idea in theory but I'm taking the easy way out and going to the pool.

Actual Boston Music News
Well, it's news to me even though I'm several months behind the times: Adam12, former DJ at WFNX (rest in peace, still miss you), WBCN (rest in peace), RadioBDC (rest in peace), and then RadioBDC's newer incarnation called indie617 (still alive online), is back on the airwaves at 92.9FM (which I guess is still called WBOS? so confusing) in the afternoon. Also in news, I guess 92.9 now plays more alternative classic rock than WZLX, from what I've gathered? Not sure when that happened (92.9's morning show is terrible). Anyway, good job, sir. Welcome back, Kotter.

Buffalo Tom/MSCL
I've been spending a LOT of time driving lately, which for me means re-discovering the joy of listening to a complete album and old, saved playlists. Yesterday's journey included Buffalo Tom, which of course will always remind me of Angela and Jordan, and other magical moments like this from My So-Called Life.
